RealityCheck @ 22:49 pm
Dr. Paul’s NH supporters have decided to stop making statements similar to “Neither has a chance in hell of getting the nomination” - it drains our energy and our resolve to get his message out to as many people as possible. NH is a small state and we are going to make damned sure that Dr. Paul comes in at least second or third here, if not better. No matter what the eventual result of the nomination process, the name “Ron Paul” will become a household word in the United States. We ask everyone to think, and talk, positively, about Dr. Paul’s chances - it will make our job much easier. Thanks!

Ron Paul
Ron Paul is to the Republican candidates what Dennis Kucinich is to the Democratic candidates. They both have the courage to speak truth to the powerful. Neither has a chance in hell of getting the nomination, but we can enjoy their making the front-runners look uncomfortable.
@GoldenAge
Thanks for relaying that message on Ron Paul. I wholeheartedly agree. He clearly distinguishes himself head and shoulders above the rest! Before the last debate I believed Ron Paul was a straight shooter who was willing to stand up for the truth and what is right. I loved everything the guy has has done before that time and deeply admire his point of view.
However, after his exchange with Guiliani, he proved his courage and integrity beyond any shadow of a doubt to me. America needs Ron Paul [and people like him] more than at any other time in our history. The fact that his competitors want to censor him from future debates is telling indeed.

Yes, wish I had made arrangements in early 80’s when I was better “connected”. I saw then what was to come eventually, but did not know the vehicle. Always assumed the gradual increase in Marxist influence and citizen apathy would slowly cook us frogs in the pan. The Patriot Act has been a surprise=designed to keep citizens and their assets in, not the bad guys out as advertised (immigration farce annouced today solidifies that theory). Guv must create ever more dangerous boogeymen to excite J6P to clamor for more programs and laws to protect him. Leaving now is not difficult-taking it with us may be.
‘Civilization is the progress toward a society of privacy. The savage’s whole existence is public, ruled by the laws of his tribe. Civilization is the process of setting man free from men. ‘
Ayn Rand (back on our little marble apparently, according to recent tent posts).

Comments from a Ron Paul Staffer
Dan McAdams, who works in Ron Paul’s office, posted these remarks immediately following the debate:
I have worked for and with Dr. Paul more closely than perhaps anyone in this country (along with my colleagues) for the past six years and the fact of the matter is, as Lew can attest, that Dr. Paul is the most even-tempered, best-humored, easy-going, and intellectually engaging individual anyone would ever want to know. I still look at the little notes he sends me – even from years ago – and laugh my head off.
No one would saddle themselves with the kind of inhuman schedule that he does unless he genuinely enjoyed and felt passion for what he was doing. The joy is there every time I see him each week. And I have never met anyone who is so intellectually nimble and interested in new ideas.
Ron Paul has put himself up for personal ridicule at the hands of his inferiors just to show all of us that there is an alternative to the direction we are headed. Which of us would have the courage to do the same? He won? Irrelevant. His every word to the national audience is worth a million blows of the hammer on the stone of authoritarianism. God bless him. I have never felt more proud of him than tonight, enduring the slings and arrows of fascists like Giuliani.
FGC, LOL
Thats more like it..The singing in the choir bit doesnt quite cut the mustard !
Polly and Augirl……me too…that was not fair….but Irish has a flair for the dramatic

“Rest of the Story”!
Really not much to say, charts are U G L Y and we need some time to put in a bottom and repair some of the damage. JMO of course.

Like Poly I’m waiting for Irish to finish his story Cheers AuGirl
Hey, where is Irish? I can’t sleep now!
Good grief, man! I have a lot of work waiting for me in the morning, but I can’t sleep until I hear the end of your story. What a cliff hanger! That’s mean leaving us dangling and using a lame excuse like having to go sing in the choir. ;->
