It’s not so much the USD/JPY that i watch, but the yen against all the other currencies, most importantly the Euro and the commodity currencies. Look at those gaps tonight. Yen is really moving tonight, for example the Aussie dollar gapped down a full point (1%) against the yen tonight. Let’s see how the asian markets warm up against that.
Nov. 9 (Bloomberg) — Copper fell, capping the longest slump since 2002, as growing inventories signaled a slowing economy is curbing demand for the metal used in pipes and wires.
Inventories monitored by the London Metal Exchange rose to a six-month high and are up 30 percent since Oct. 1. The U.S. economy will grow in the fourth quarter at less than half the pace of the previous three months, according to a survey of economists. The price of copper, which usually moves in line with economic growth, is the lowest since August.
“The world is probably getting ready to slow down and use less copper,” said Ron Goodis, futures trading director at Equidex Brokerage Group Inc. in Closter, New Jersey. “Copper is just tanking, and the trend will stay down.”

Some of us live in areas where the local food bank has run out of food to feed the less fortunate and we’d rather put up with a little inconvenience and spend our money helping others.

i have a sound for every computor action and occasion and i noticed there would be an opening of a program and after a few seconds a closing. something new was happening externally while my puter was at rest. i use norton security and went in to the firewall and noticed an ‘allow’ for ’slacker jukebox’ from the download the other day. i deleted ’slacker jukebox’ from my norton firewall so now there will be a blocking. lets see if this will correct the ‘browser’ freezing problem. i’ll sure know by tomorrow. wj
another one of that piss ant suck face nazi’s comments was in effect… ‘the military are nothing but dumb dogs to be used in the furtherance of international policy concerns’ yeah ‘rockerfruckers’s man. bah! a pox be on them all. wj
I don’t expect the DOW is going up as long as the YEN is getting stronger - JMO
I watched “We were soldiers” for awhile last night. Those men that landed in that hot L.Z were slaughtered for WHAT. All I could think about while men were exploding into pieces was Henry Kissingers statement about what a soldier was to him.”A piece of fodder”
That piece of human garbage S.O.B I spit on you and your family Henry Kissinger

Banks Said to Agree on Credit Backup Fund
Now, Henry M. Paulson Jr., the Treasury secretary, is describing the proposal’s benefits as helping “at the margin.” In an interview on Thursday, before the latest agreement was made, he acknowledged that the proposed backup fund would not rescue troubled SIVs, only lead to a longer and more orderly demise.
“This is something that is not a savior,” Mr. Paulson said, noting that he expected the fund to begin operating by the end of the year. “Anything at the margin that will speed up liquidity is worth trying.” http://tinyurl.com/2kx3lb
