criteria that I also try to look at when trying to decide an PM stock investments. One criterion that I like is ounces in the ground relative to number of shares outstanding. In that context, Seabridge has rated highly in my books since at least 2002.
Second, I do favor companies that have some production and revenue in place, or are on the cusp of beginning production and having a revenue stream. For me, Novagold and Silver Wheaton make the grade for this criterion.
I have never got involved with trying to figure out production costs, although when we did hold some Goldcorp shares it was partly because they were billed as a very low-cost producer. Despite that alleged low-cost production, I eventually lost interest in continuing to hold Goldcorp.
I appreciate you drawing attention to CDM.TO and GSC.TO and I will study these two. We have owned shares in both of these companies before, but not since late 2003.
