Health

I will not complain about the posts on health. I think that they can do a great service. A round about service I have found is that I don’t care what I am doing wrong healthwise and that tells me a lot about my life. And it is not about being unhappy - I am not. It has to do with when I was young. This is a quote from a friend from high schools days (I keep in contact via email with both high school and other friends):

“When we were young I don’t think we ever thought about old age (well at least older age). We were young and would live forever young. I want those times back!”

a grin not put - sorry

One heck of a chart you posted.

Dont pretend to know a whole lot. But I just figure, this ole world is about to figure out some old truths. Just seems, most of us folks have taken things, like food, or water, or freedom even, for granted, for too long. Seems, most (and I am guilty too), have believed this world of ‘Illusions’, and easy living…and have forgotten our ‘roots’, and hard work. Seems, things just might be changin.

Seems, going forward, folks might appreciate the ole farmer….perhaps a little more than his/her stockbroker or bankster. Seems, a man good with a wrench….that can fix the auto, or a man handy with a tool box…..seems they will be in demand. Seems some old values, old ways…..like old clothes, will be in fashion once again. Seems, Gold and silver are telling us so. ??

Seems I remember a line or two from ages ago learned in church. “I dont know what the future holds….but I know who holds the future”. Seems, some old songs, old ways….might just be in vogue shortly. Seems, a man with a woodpile, might just be ahead of the crowd. Yep,…I can see that.

Best to you, and yours this evening. Grab her, and do a little dance in the kitchen. (grin), Farmboy

Thank you for posting that very interesting article ..It’s amazing to me how these jerk’s EXPECTED the B of C to come the the rescue on the guise of halting an implosion of  our commercial paper market..Who are they kidding? They didn’t give a damn about anyone but saving their own necks and reputations..  I guess kudos to David Dodge for saying no way Jose’,  go work it out yourself..

One has to wonder how many more of these mini meltdowns we will be looking at in the future.. How anyone can have any faith at all in these markets is beyond me.. It is getting downright scary out there.   AuGirl

We should get a bounce in this area. Then we should get a second bounce and IMO that will be the last chance for the short term traders. Long termers won’t sell and if they ride it out will do very well.

Another IMO.

How true…and concise.

Vitamin B1 is in critical short supply…among the most needed supplements among nations as well as neighbors.

Farmboy @ 21:55 ….

“Problem” you say ….. I didn’t have a problem until you went and said “3 twenties” ….. I figured I could handle 2 thirties …… but 3 twenties …. I dunno …. maybe once upon a time ….   ouch, ouch, ….. honey stop that …. I’m only kidding ….

Farmboy (21:33) I notice that you mention the importance of food grains quite often.

Notice that I didnt mention the imbecile idea of growing grains for automobile fuel -  I mean grains for human food, which I think are a product that is going to loom large in future economic developments.  Did you see the chart I posted the other day to cannuckgold (chart reposted below) about potash as a commodity that is helping to feed the world.  Best wishes to you this evening.

I have not read exactly what you had done to the knee(s).Was it total knee replacement or other? Whichever it was I would be interested in how you are doing. My knee replacement has been postponed for some more studies. Seems it is more complicated than most since I completely severd the poplliteal artery in that leg when I dislocated the knee. Looks like I will have it done in late December now. I hope you are recovering and not in any pain now.

floridagold @ 21:29 pm

Yeah…LOL…seems I cant figure out ole Strikerods problem. LOL

Either he is too young to know better….or he is one of the bravest men I ever heard about. (Grin)

Funny, how those lumps tend to make one a little wiser. Thought I was the only one that had to learn things the hard way. LOL

Best, Farmboy

Just tuned in and read a little note about wire transfers and sending wealth across the borders. When capitol controls are instituted and the body can leave but the wealth stays there will always be ways to get it out. There have been black markets and smugglers as long as there have been humans and you and I both know there are ways, always will be. They walk across the border from Mexico and Canada. Who thinks it only works one way? The plan B should involve some imagination….think outside the box… be creative. All the worry about what “they” will allow is self-defeating. You know this as well as I.

So now that you have a new phone, call me. Irish has my cell number. We should talk.

I noticed a lot of health-related postings on Goldtent recently.

In my health care research so far this weekend, I picked up one bit of applicable information -   The best vitamin for making friends;  B-1

aggie @ 21:10 pm

Nothing to really report to you this evening. Just wanted to shout at you. Hope you are faring well.

Have been pondering over Winedocs earlier post. Where a banker friend thinks commodities are a ‘good investment’. Hate to think it this evening, (ole Dr Gloom and Doom am I), but got a feeling, those corn and wheat prices are going to see some heretofore, high prices over the next few years. Think trying to feed 6 Billion folks, may prove to be a big chore. Especially if ole Mother Nature keeps on with her current ways. Things might just get real interesting.

Best to you, and those worn out knees (grin). Farmboy. Who sez….probably wont be much longer before one can order a set of new knees, elbows…heart…right off the internet. LOL. HOpe for us ole weary ones yet I thinks.

Farmboy @ 20:50 pm

I like the way you ziffer!  3 X 20 = 60

Of course the last time I said something like Strikerrod said to his wife - well - just let me say that it took 3 months for the lump to go down enough that I could wear a cap!

Hoping you have a good weekend on the Farm!

Just_Buy_It @ 21:05 pm

LOL>…like that ‘Bear Dolla’ pic. (One of these days, I have to drag myself into the ‘modern world’, and learn how to do those fancy pictures and things. Last week, my son gave me a cell phone. LOL. Takes pictures and everything. (Dont know how to take a picture….but will get around to reading the manual…lol)

Was reading FullGoldCrown’s post, about the Tent, and internet. Yes sir….a lot to be said for modern communication. A lot to be said for the Tent, and those who post here. Kinda smiled the other day when some ‘cut and paste’ dude called us a bunch of clowns in a Tent. Have to admit I smiled, got a kick out of that comment. Smiled, cause I know, he visits and reads every chance he gets. Smiled….I did. Figure, there are a lot of folks reading these pages. Probably some banksters too. LOL. They (banksters) might talk it up against gold….but I figure some are building thier own ‘woodpiles’.

Fact of the matter….I am thinking about joining thier ‘Anti Gold Campaign’. Yep. Think I will start posting that Gold is some barberic relic….aint never gonna be worth nothin. Figure….I should hook up with them, so we can keep the price of the Precious down, for just a little longer. (grin) Not that I am greedy or nothin….but figure, I aint got my share just quite yet.

Best this evening…..and been awhile since I told you thanks. Thanks for your charts, and thoughts. Farmboy

aggie @ 21:10 pm.

I still have Don Coxe’s show to still listen to tomorrow before finishing my weekend homework, but did catch Puplava’s show early today and it was worthwhile. James Turk comes on at the end and feels likewise, as you said, that pullbakcs in the PMs will be shortlived.
