a eurodollar is a us dollar that is overseas. the ted spread is influenced by the value of the dollar and overseas interest rates. the eurodollar peg is what a us dollar 90 day rate is in england (i think). lots of people confuse the eurodollar with the euro. the yen carry trade is borrowing yen and investing it in another currency. lately the australian and new zealand dollar. the big boys borrow the yen at .5% interest and buy interest bearing bonds or cd’s in another currency. guaranteed profit unless a big currency move goes against them. hope this is of some help.

Boise and Hawaii are to of the best teams in the nation and neither one gets the respect tha they should. I hope Hawaii goes as far as Boise did last year and beats whatever team they goup against . Then maybe the wac will start to get a little respect.

I hope Colt Brennan gets the Heisman trophy. That boy deserves something for walking away from a million bux to play school ball for another year. I have never seen this town so nutzo pumped as it was yesterday. Even the city buses signboards were flashing ‘Go Warriors’ between the route numbers.

… reading you midwesterners crowing about your college teams. Last night the University of Hawaii Warriors became the WAC champs, defeating Idaho. Undefeated in eleven games. Our quarterback turned down a lucrative NFL deal last year to spend one more year at school with his teammates. Can’t beat Polynesian Power and Pride! And still we get no respect in the polls. One more game to go. Look for us in a bowl… somewhere.
