are now old and can be removed…

FWIW……..A comment made to another poster on a …..

….private board in response to Master Petch worrying about rising costs stymie(ing) a rise in the shares of explorers.  If you’re out there, “Howdy Master Petch!”

Bob, have you looked at the figures that NG had used in their studies that “blocked” the recent mining decision?  Have you heard anybody talking about revaluing reserve pricing higher for what seems like forever?  No, of course not.  Yet, the 3 year average price of Gold and Silver has continued to rise markedly.  Thus, for the explorers and for many of the higher cost producers with large reserves, valuations have been based on much higher costs with no increase in the reserve valuation.  That is all because “The Street- the fools, lean toward the possibility the price of Gold has risk to the downside, but no risk to the upside…….but, of course, they have it completely backwards.

Don’t you expect a rather large revaluation in reserve pricing as Gold re-tests, then runs to historic highs?  “The Street- fools that they are” will “tout” reserve revalues higher but fairly late in this run since they know they will help traders provide a violent re-test of the old highs after the run is over.  Smart money knows that a major reval has to occur with reserve pricing rising substantially and many inferred ounces moving to reserves (higher pricing.)

The real deal will be seen after the next deflationary scare- Gold historical retest………when Gold goes into the real 5 of 5 parabolic move.  Then, “The Street- fools that they are” will (just like all other historical Gold bull market 5 of 5s) will change the metrics of reserve valuation altogether as investor switch from a “trailing 3 year average of reserve valuations” to “constantly rising forward-looking reserve valuation pricing” as Gold goes nuts on the upside.  That is when some explorers now valued around a buck will run up into the hundreds of dollars a share (much the same as what you are looking for with BQI.)  Again, JS has it right while most have no forward looking insight into the Gold market.  It is all about resources in the ground.  In the 5 of 5 investors will throw out the concept of PM company earnings and PEs while “The Street-fools that they are”, mumble through their fingers about PEs and earnings.  Why?  Well, what do producers get if they produce?  Fake fiat?  You betcha.  Who wants fake fiat, especially in a full-blown Gold Bull.  Do you?

When JS talks, he is simply describing what occurs in all Gold Bulls including the 70s Gold Bull.  Thus, he has an emphasis on holding positions since only about like 5% of the move in the PM stocks has taken place, with the other 95 percent likely taking place out into 2012.  He talks of support and resistance, IMO, with that in mind- clearly stating that ST traders are on their own to trade the power trendlines.
