Winedoc

@warren 19:55

A trip out to some of the wineries in Niagra-on-the Lake wouldn’t hurt you any. Mrs Winedoc and I had a meeting/golf/winetasting weekend at White Oaks resort. The restaurant there “Liv” was awesome and very knowlegable with thier wine list. I took home a few bottle of “Trius” Grand Red. I’m very intertested in the new wine areas in your locale.

As far as learning more, I read a lot and enjoy wine with friends. I would recommend buying a few issues of Wine Spectator magazine. Hugh Johnson’s book “How to enjoy Your Wine” (Fireside 1998) is a handy place to start. Good luck with the art of enjoyment.

Winedoc - us more westerners (than you)

are sending you a nice winter storm.  We went from real cold for this time of year, with lots of snow last night, through freezing rain to solid deluge now. We just about froze yesterday on the Christmas tree hunt, Dave and I stretched unused muscles shovelling snow today, and now it’s like a monsoon outside. Hope you enjoy this one; it’s a little early for us.

When you get back this way, let’s talk wine as well as pms. I’m trying to figure it all out but know nothing. I just like the stuff. Have an old farm it what is becoming Ontario’s newest wine region - Prince Edward County. It’s a rural county forgotten by time and off the beaten path but I’m sure wine will change that before long. Investment is pouring in. It will be my Belize if it doesn’t grow too  far too fast.

Thanks for keeping that coffee always on.

Augirl - don’t know if he knows about the Tent

I do know he says he doesn’t read other analysts or forums because it distracts him from doing what he needs to do to keep making money for his clients.

Thanks for keeping the Tent mood up: can always count on you to stir the pot when it starts to get slow here.
