Hello audept….

Good to hear from ya again! I can’t imagine what this place will look like in a few years. You guys have made all the right moves to get a first class site off the ground and running hard. You are highly commended. However, I think there is a lot of work yet to do. The real BULL in this gold bull has yet to start. I think this site will become swamped with newcomers trying to gain insight and information about the king of currencies. I hope and pray we are ready. The gold story, which is unknown by many, will soon have masses wanting to be told. Have a great vacation and a Merry Christmas. All the best.—–aggie.

Sounds like Kaplan is the type of pigheaded light-weight  that will sacrifice everything he’s got to prove a point or yearn for the point to…..be able to say he is right.  All the best and Merry Christmas.—–aggie.

WORLD BRIEFING | AFRICA
Zimbabwe: Another Day, Another Dollar Change-Over

By REUTERS
The central bank chief, Gideon Gono, announced on television that he was withdrawing the country’s current highest denomination bank note, the $200,000 bill, and replacing it with $750,000, $500,000 and $250,000 bills that would start circulating on Thursday. “The cash shortages will be a thing of the past,” he said.

He did not address rocketing inflation or the fact that there is virtually nothing to buy in stores. Just a little more than a year ago, Mr. Gono introduced new notes with three zeros removed, turning a $100,000 bill into a $100 bill. The $200,000 bill, the equivalent to $6.66 in American money at the official exchange rate and 12 cents on the black market patronized by most Zimbabweans, was introduced in August.

I say we start calling Ben: Ben “Gideon Gono” Bernanke - just add a few more zeros!!!!”….End

the point of the post lol was i no longer have a tax loss on gss… to sell into..

maybe with luck it can come down .. then sell …to off set gains ..

just for fun… as so much is made of tax selling ,, like give me that 3000 dollar tax break or the stocks are so high i need to take a loss to escape the AMT

Audept and all who are responsible for this great site a big thank you.

I also want to thank all the poster who have contributed to this forum to make it what it is. Sharing knowledge and insight without expecting anything in return.

DrV just didn’t get it; he never understood who we are and what we stand for.

Wishing all a Merry Christmas and a prosperous, healthy new year.

Aussie govt priming market for rate hike?

Predicting standard home mortgage rates of 8.95% by March 08

predicting 4% plus overall inflation March 08, this on top of the (current) 20%+ money flood…….yikes…and this is only the beginning

How great to here from you my friend! The fact that I can say that to someone that I have never had the privlage to meet encapsules what you, with your wisdom, unshelfishness, and forsight have done here. You and all of the administrators have given so much to this effort that “thanks” seems shallow in return.

Merry Christmas to you and all and please post more often. OK?

Best
