If memory serves, and I must admit, it does not serve as well as it did even a fews years ago, but that is beside the point. I remember having to read George Orwell’s book, ‘1984′ back in high school…..70.71. My history teacher made us read it. I remember thinking……this guy George was kinda nuts. All his talk about survielence, cameras, etc…..thought, it was kinda of far out. A good read, an interesting take he had on what society might become…(it was fiction of course). TV cameras, what few existed back in those days, where the size of micowave ovens, or bigger. Who could have invisioned, a camera, lense and all, the size of a peanut, or smaller? Really?

Last I heard, is the average american has his/her image captured some 23 times a day. Between the ATM’s, entry at almost any store, traffice cams….etc….seems there is no place a person can go in an ‘INdustrial Socieity’ that his actions are not captured by some photo device. Wont even go into the following of financial transactions….credit cards, checks, etc.

Tonight, I find out there are over 900 satilletes up ‘there’ taking it all in as well. Guess, it means you can run but not hide. If someone, somewhere, wants to track it all. ??

Guess ole George, had a much clearer vision of the future, of the here and now, than I once gave him credit for. And for his sermon on ‘doublespeak’, well, that too it seems has come to pass. (We call it ‘political correctness’ amongst other names) Seems, privacy, and freedom, (Thank you G Bush for the ‘Patriot Act’, and the many ‘Executive Orders’ now in place to allow ‘Big Brother to oversee, watch almost our every act). Seems…..The term, ‘Citizen’, has been reduced to one who is ‘compliant’, goes along with…..the ‘Correct Programs’. Seems, America, and the ideals of freedom and self reliance, and control over one’s life…..is but a my th, in these here modern times.

Seems to me, that a island somewhere, might be ‘Freedom’s Last Hope’. Someone told me the other day they seen a television interview with Shawn Hannity (sp), where someone asked him if he would allow his children to be ‘microchiped’? I was told, Mr Hannity, never answered the question.

Strange times, strange days, strange events seem to surround us these days. Perhaps our Gold and Silver ‘woodsheds’ will provide some support/relief in the times ahead. Once thought, it a good idea to have a second passport/citizenship in some ‘Third World’ country. Pretty much nowdays convinced, that a wise person will have such.

In the meantime, here is a web page showing the 900 eyes int he sky….and one can only wonder, what the heck those ‘eyes’ and ‘ears’ above, are tracking? Somehow, I get a gut feeling…..’someone’ is very interested in keeping up with our activities, our communications….our very lives. Somehow….I just dont get the idea….they have my, or yours, best interest at heart.

As if ole Farmboy didnt have enough things to worry about? (grin) Well, I guess, us older ones can tell tales of Freedom, to our grandkids one day. I wonder, if they will believe us?

Like the old ‘Candid Camera’ show used to say…”Smile Your’re On Candid Camera”. Ya never know. I wonder….is something floating out in space, has taken my picture, as I relieved myself on the nearby oak or pine tree? (grin)

I wonder, if most people give it a second thought, or care? I wonder, if those heavenly eyes, or even local ground level eyes….will save me from the next ‘Terrorist Attack’? I wonder, truly wonder….?? who the ‘Real Enemy’ is? Somedays, I fear my own government, more than some raghead? Somedays….and nights even…..I wonder….who is friend, and who is foe?

Yep, I wonder about a lot of things these days. I wonder why CNBS was touting how the DOW, Nasduck, or SP was up…..something like 6 Percent for the year. (Can you hear the hand clapping and shouting about that one?). But it seems, they chose to ignore Gold up over 200 an ounce for the year….some Thirty Plus percent. Perhaps the ‘eyes’ that watch, have missed that fact. Perhaps….they really dont want to talk about that?

I hope they get those ‘Re-education Camps’ up and running soon. Pretty sure, I will think more clearly, feel much better, after a short stay. Pretty sure, I will be willing to turn in my physical stash, for the much better, more acceptable form of fiat of the day. Heck….I might even get my brainwaves and thought patterns adjusted enough….to even give em my gun.
And spy on my nieghbor. Seems a lot of that has been going on in the Atlanta area already….spying on your nieghbor….reporting them to ‘Officials’. Seems a lot of folks could not stand to see thier neighbor sneaking out at night to water a few plants or the lawn, or even wash thier car.

Well, at least we have had some good rains the past week. Maybe, just maybe, folks might just start minding thier own business for awhile. Instead of turning in thier nieghbors to Big Brother. Bury the ‘Precious’ Deep, and out of sight. Ya never know who might want to ‘report’, on your doings. It’s a strange world out there….no doubt about it. And probably a good idea, to keep in mind….somebody is always watching….looking out for your ‘best interests’.
