A closer look at the water stocks shows that Companhia de San Basi (SBS) once again was the best performer among the foreign entries gaining 37.96%. Suez (SZEZY) gained 23.92%, and Kelda Group was up to 20.22%. The American stocks were lead by Lindsay (LNN) with a 99.09% gain, and then a huge gap down to Northwest Pipe (NWPX) with a modest 10.45% move, and last year’s American leader, Layn Christensen (LAYN) with an OK 4.39% push up. Major diappointments were Gorman-Rupp (GRC -31.16%) and Watts Water (WTS -31.00%). Tetra (TTI) was the biggest loser at -32.51%. The only loser among the foreign stocks was United Utility (UUPLY) at -4.81%.Please note that neither
Suez nor United were Pink Sheet stocks when selected a year ago. Both are huge companies and both decided they didn’t need the NYSE or SarbOx. This trend has gained momentum this year and I expect it to continue. (Can you blame them when the ultimate authority and high priest of foreign investment is little Chuckie Schumer?) To keep abreast sign up with otcqx.com/otcqx/home as they not only announce the delistings but provide information on the quality of the companies moving.

interested know the makeup of the Barrick operation.  I have thought for some time that the people running this entity do not pass any decent smell test, and your  link helps raise that question.   The one adjustment I may have to make in my biased thinking is about J. Trevor Eyton.  I have generally held him in high regard as part of corporate Canada, but when I see him listed as part of Barrick’s board it simply raises questions in my mind about him too.  The Saudi Arabia interests, the Bush interests, the Mulroney interests, the Munk interests dont surprise me - but Eyton?

Anyway, my wonderment about Mr. Sinclair’s frequent mention of Barrick still remains.  I know one should’nt bring up this subject as it will quickly provoke comments from a couple of regular Goldtenters who will question why anyone should raise  questions about JS.  I have never understood whether the JS sale of Sutton Resources to Barrick has any lingering effect on their relationship.  Just wondering.  Equiz

like the hell story but are you for or against the Giants?

I still think the Giants will win even though their down by 4. Brady has to be shell shocked. Maybe the Giants defense will start the ball rolling with a defensive touchdown. Either way the Pats defense has got to be getting tired. If the Giants offense steps up here, it could be the upset victory we Giants fans are rooting for. BTW, gold is up. Go Giants. Go Gold.

It’s in Arizona. LOL! And that’s OK. One of my neighbor’s wife thought we were watching the World Cup. Stay on top of all those charts, ABX and all. A lot more interest in that to be found at our TENT.
