Cool!  I don’t think the ones I am talking about have anything to do with God……..just with Fiat Currency.

What reserves in the ground on these small caps?  Most of the small mining/exploration companies have little or no reserves right now.  If they have reserves, then they may not be economically feasible right now.  Sure they will be attractive down the road to bigger miners as the gold price rises, but right now these aquirers can’t get the financing in place to get the deal done unless it’s an all stock deal.  The bottom line is that these small caps require significant cash outlays (working capital) to get up and running.  They need hard currency (or bank credit) to expand property, plant, equipment and pay for exploration costs.  These start-up costs are a black hole and financing is currently cut-off.  Fear has gripped the credit market.

kinda amazing ain’t it!  And the article, as well as a couple of others I have seen, say that it is simply a BUSINESS decision and people should not worry about it.  Guess I was brought up during a different time when paying your bills was important and part of a persons character.  Now walking away is just a BUSINESS decision.

Sounds like the Gubberment better figure a way, fast like too, to keep all those home owners from walking away. Looks like the banks could be left holding a lot of red ink on the balance sheets if they do…just walk. ?

I knew you said the temps had been bad there on the reef this winter - but - I didn’t know they had been THAT bad.   You should be able to get loose for that by the second week of March!   34 here tonight in the frozen north.

i’ve been listening to the ‘love fm radio’ from late this afternoon but the results are coming in slow and it seems the station is an hour delayed or perhaps they are running tapes of some interviews? the station says ‘live’ though. [link below]

Well, seems the ‘door’ closed a little tighter today in the USofA, with Romney pulling back his Presdiential Run. Appears that Americans will have a ‘choice’ of Hillary/Obama/McCain. Some choice. (puke)

Thanks for your reporting of the Belize Elections. Cant help but think maybe, An ember from the Ole Lady that stands in NY harbour….cant wonder this evening if an ember of freedom from her torch, has somehow sparked a new sense, land of Freedom, in Belize? May the fires of Freedom, and its Light, never die. Relocate to a better ‘neighborhood’ is ok though. (grin)
Perhaps to a new land/people, that will nourish, and better appreciate such? Whats that ole saying, you dont really appreciate something, until you lose it?
