Any antiseptic will relieve itching on bugbites according to George. I have tried it and it seems to work pretty darn good. Alcohol. Collodial Silver. Hydrogen Peroxide. Lavender Oil. Any antiseptic. Unless you really want to scratch then just go for it.

Now, about your 22:28 message.  So your standing in Saskatchewan and title you posting ” From  my neighbors to the right”, and then post something about Manitoba.  The first thing I have to figure out is whether your reference to ‘right’ is who is on your left or right if you face a certain way, or whether ‘right’ means right-wing versus left-wing as far as jurisdictions go.  So standing in Saskatchewan looking north, Manitoba is on your right.  Right?  I think if I was in Saskatchewan I would be looking north too, because that is where the mineral wealth, and the renewable forest resource too, is located.  But if you were in Saskatchewan looking south to the United States, your right would be in Alberta, not Manitoba.

Now if your posted item was about looking right to right-wing Manitoba  then I dont get it, because I thought you just voted in a new era in Sask. with a less socialistic government elected a few weeks ago, whereas Manitoba still has a  socialist labelled government  as long as their present premier wants to hold office.

Don’t talk about it! Got more than too many shares in an outfit KCN.ax who is in Thailand and I’m constantly sweating when they will be “nationalised for the good of the people”. They have already started with share allocations to locals (you know who’s pockets they ended up in) and guess what, they still have a few “administrative” problems with getting mining approvals and so forth and they have the best environmental record in the industry.

Look at NEM in Indonesia with the share seldown fiasco with their Batu Hijau copper and gold mine in the Nusa Tenggara islands.

Sell the lot, I say… take no sovereign risk…stick physical in your back pocket and sleep like a baby.

Most of my bites were from the horseflies (nasty) in Parrots Cove restaurant but I’m all better now…Swab them with a cotton pad saturated with colloidal silver if they are still bothering you , it helps..

BRUSSELS Every visitor to the European Union would have to provide fingerprints before being allowed to enter, under plans unveiled yesterday to clamp down on illegal immigration.

The move to record the arrival and departure of non-EU citizens and to store the data in a single European database is part of a wider overhaul of border security. It is aimed at the largest single category of illegal migrants: people who remain once their visa or permit has expired.

Franco Frattini, the EU Justice Commissioner, argued that the existence of the electronic register containing a visitor’s personal details and final destination would make it possible to identify overstayers.

The scheme, which must be approved by all 27 EU governments before it can come into force in 2013 as proposed, has been criticised by civil rights groups. They fear that it could lead to a “fortress Europe” mentality against foreigners and to identity theft if the data were lost or stolen.

Is it just me or did everybody else (X-cept Longpants Mobax) get chewed up by bugs in a massive way on the river trip?  I did spend extra time hanging out at the dock talking to the skipper and the locals compared to y’all but I am still CHEWED UP!
