A look at a few long term commodities charts clearly shows there is no inflation. When you takeout food, energy, health care costs, education and just about everything else you will clearly see there is no inflation. Everything that is rising around you is just a figment of your imagination.

The next couple of charts show that food prices should be holding steady and this blip up in grains is just an aberration.

$100 oil is not inflationary is it? The middle east will start to flood the markets with oil so we really don’t have to worry about oil going any higher, right.

A real copper penny is now worth more than it’s face value but but but that doesn’t mean there is inflation does it?

Anybody looking at these next 3 charts must clearly see there is no inflation. These charts clearly show inflation in check and there is no need to protect your paper wealth.

Now just because the dollar has lost almost half of it’s value since 2002 doesn’t mean there is inflation because now we have more dollars to spend on everything we need to make life easier.

I hope these long term charts clear up some misunderstanding about inflation. You can see things are pretty much under control at this time and there is nothing to worry about going froward. Uncle Sam is in full control of the situation and is promising to keep a close eye on things and will let us know if things start to heat up. So its business as usual until everything we need to live on starts to show some inflation. So for right now, just go back to bed or stick your head back into the sand, as I know Uncle Sam is watching the inflation numbers very closely and will let us know in plenty of time when to take protective measures.
