the Doug Beiers article of your 17:26 Goldtent posting on 3 March. This is a lengthy item to listen to, 45 minutes including the question and answer period with Donald Coxe, but in my opinion is well worth the listening time. Mr Coxe is, not surprisingly, bullish on precious metals long term, bullish on base metals for different reasons than for precious metals, and bullish on agricultural products and industries that support agricultural production. Since no one on Goldtent seems to have commented on this Coxe item, not even the agricultural gurus of Goldtent, I am posting it again below (thanks to Beiers and mobax) in case interested persons missed it the first time around. I am going to listen to it a second time tomorrow, this time with my spouse, as she is quite interested on where food prices are heading. Cheers, all. Equiz.

If ‘rant’ means…telling it like it really is..please rant on brother!
Kinda figure this evening, ole Cramer & Crew is having a really hard time of it….looking at those 5 years charts of gold and silver. Kinda hard to argue with the facts huh? (grin)
Kinda off topic for just a sec….but was just out looking up at the stars this evening. And a most grateful thought occured to me. So glad, man has yet to find a way to move all those stars around, reposition them. Kinda liked the randomness of it all. Could only imagine if man could move all those stars. Probably make one really cool looking picture or something. Pretty sure in the lower right, or left hand corner, would be a Goodyear, or Microsoft logo. Glad, they are, just like they are. Glad there are a few things….that cant be tinkered with, genetic engineered, or manipulated to serve some interest. Yep….glad the stars are what they is, where they is.
Best, Farmboy (who thinks real gold, and silver….are kinda like the shining stars. Real, and a comfort to those that gaze upon them)
Please send me the information….when available…on your subscription site. Best of luck on the new endeavor! All the best.—–aggie.
Yep, that ole gold train just cruising right along. Pastures to the left, pasture to the right….not a worry in the world….just enjoying the ride.
Thanks for a slice of serenity this evening…Best, Farmboy
Two I remember were “mentioned” and “fundamentals.” Oh well…………
have thrown in the towel and endorsed Gold, because they risked being made to look stupid. They denied, denied ,denied until it is obvious to even the stupidest investor that they were lying about the Dow and S&P and the economy.Where were they when Gold was $250.00 ?.Billions were lost by Mal-investment in the interim.Goldman Sachs lied to everyone about Mortgage investments, they packaged worthless mortgages in a Box and put a big pretty Bow on it.Why aren’t they being charged with fraud, these people can’t claim ignorance of how financial products work. They invented many of the derivatives that are the problem. They acted as “advisor’s” to all of them. Greenspan consistently endorsed and defended derivatives.Cramer has lost all credibility as a public financial commentator .He has served his Masters function ,that is to keep the public buying as the insiders sell.Only when its obvious even to the most stupid guy on the street that he lied ,does Cramer flip over like a cheap hamberger.
This has all been done before 1929,thats why separation of Banking and Brokerage was done .Thats why the “uptick rule for shorts” was put into law.Naked short selling was made illegal .Its all come back and then some.Theres nothing new under the sun.
This time they have destroyed all of Americas financial credibility.WE will never be able to sell debt to the Europeans,Japanese or anybody else again. They are greedy criminals.
They have an agenda to destroy Capitalism in America and turn it into a Socialist state.
They gave away the manufacturing base with their lies, supported every communist give away possible.Alexander Hamilton must be turning over in his grave…He created Americas manufacturing base,Wall street brokerages ,Banks and did it all with sound money…GOLD & SILVER.When Robert Rubin was compared to him I almost threw up.
Enough of my Rants, Good Night ! Do you know where your gold is ?
It’s doubtful any wheat disease would simultaneously effect the whole world wheat market. However, on the local levels, I’ve seen disease and pests such as Russian wheat aphid severely damage crops. Our main disease problems here are leaf rust (a fungus) and wheat streak mosaic ( a virus). We’ve had rust 2 out of the last 3 years. Mainly due to abnormally wet springs. Mosaic is carried by the wheat curl mite from tall grasses and volunteer wheat to planted wheat that is close by. There is no effective treatment other than improved cultural practice. Neither is a problem that will take us out of the wheat market IMO. Also, effective fungicides are available and work if applied during the rust’s early stages….before it kills the flag leaf. If some new wheat fungus does develope, my guess is that it’ll be more severe in wet climates. Dry climates tend to alleviate fungal problems. All the best.—-aggie.
Coconut-Curry Shrimp! Yum… “Broke da mouth” kine. Now you’ve got me slobbering on my keyboard.
……to me means, “Sorry for any spelling mistakes.” Much of the subject matter I have covered in detail over the last few weeks, but added a few things and organized it a bit differently. Of course, to each his own………..
I have an idea. Can one of the administrators of the tent take all the charts from Rambus, y2k, Grin? can’t remember, and put them under their name in a file if some of us wants to check on them he can. And from there on they can file as well as post their own. Most people like and appreciate there charts. I know there are some here, but a file would be nice. Athough maybe I should check to see if there is one before I post I already wrote all these words so Ill send it.
I’ll use your old address. Speaking of Okie….I’m on pins and needles awaiting his rebuttal on the oil article submitted by Ment. I want to find out more about where ‘Ole Boone is coming from with his estimates of $35 crude when heavy oil hits the markets. I’d hate to bet much against Pickens, an Okie……or our RedOkie for that matter. Never underestimate the Okies. However, Boone is a more Texan than Okie now….I ran into him a couple of times when he lived in Amarillo. I guess he still lives in Dallas. All the best.—–aggie.
