silver may be getting sold out but silver stocks for now appear to be in a serious correction, slv i shares which appeared to bring up the demand I read somewhere is having a sever correction in itself.

In any case, these days I seem far more interested in trying to form an opinion on where the price of silver is going rather than pondering what the price of gold is going to do. They dont seem to me to be exactly siamese twins. Oh, there I go again giving another unsubstantiated opinion <g>.

I would like to take a stab at guessing the future just for kicks.
I suspect the Democrats are going to win the White House in Nov. My thinking on that is that I believe the American population is so fed up with the Republicans that the sheepie will vote Democratic just for the sake of change. Not even realizing that change for change’s sake is not necessarily good. Even if the Repubs win I don’t think it is going to make a hills worth of beans difference as to the direction The US takes.
The big financial debate lately has been weather we are headed towards deflation, inflation, or stagflation. Amazing how there can be a hundred different opinions regarding the three possible outcomes. (G) Whichever way the econemy goes I believe there is going to be a wailing and knashing of teeth from the public for the guber to do something. I believe that ’something ‘ will manifest itself in some version of Rossevelt’s “New Deal”. Huge guvernment works programs to put the Nation to work and rebuild the infrastructure. Of course there is no money to pay for this except via the printing press. Massive inflation will follow and I predict that by 2015 80% of the work force will be employed by some sort of government entity, either city, county, state, or federal. The 20% that are in private enterprise of some sort will be looked upon with disdane and suspicion. They will be the outcasts to be shuned. They will be the enemy of the state. There’s will be the burdon to create welth and cary the masses. It will be impossible.
The ‘ol cristal ball is fogging over, can’t “see” any further…….I think that is a good thing!! And with those happy thoughts………….

Is the fed injection billions in fiat or loaning TBills, one’s inflationary the other’s not. I’m with you “clinging to my physical” but seriously considering dumping the rest of my PM paper and holding a little more fiat paper.
