but I identify with your last post. I watch every day and listen to the ta boys and girls and expect the move to continue. The news that Bear Stearns was long gold/short the dollar and that was unwound over last weekend is the only way I can justify gold down and dollar up. The strength of gold and the shares today is significant. If this is not an aberration and the week turns out positive, I expect the up trend to continue. We wait. Most times I pipe up too early and the bottom is pulled out from under the shares and the above is rendered moot. I feel good about this call.

Thanks for the heads up and bringing to my attention tfh’s post. I just read it and very much appreciated the charts and commentary. I think a drop to $800-$850 is very possible, but like grandpa noted, it seems like everyone and their grandmother is singing the same song, so…….??????

If it does drop to that level, I think the PM stocks will hold up better and not drop as much. I have to agree with Ron Rosen, for example, in thinking that, at a worse case scenario, 400 will hold on the HUI. But more importantly, I think this will be a time to focus in on those stocks with high relative strength. I’m watching EGO, AEM, ASA and others, including our old friend, NXG. I will try to post a list of some of the stronger stocks this weekend, the ones that have performed best since not only the 8/16/07 LOW but also the May ‘06 TOP in the XAU, HUI and GDM.

History continues to unfold in front of our eyes, friend. “Uncharted waters” with much uncertainty has become the norm. Continued “gut checks” are a must, but I still feel the fundamentals are solid and that the very best is yet to come. With only a very special interest over the long term in this matter, the handwriting has never been clearer to me. And thank God we have each other here at our TENT. We share so much!

I have no doubt that gold will correct a lot of its gains, but IMO it won’t be from this orchestrated takedown. I’m expecting much higher prices in gold, silver, and the shares before the actual (real) correction occurs. I’m still looking for gold $1104, silver $25, and XAU 235 before we get the real top and lengthy consolidation.

What a ride it’s been for platinum, huh? I’m also thinking here and speculating that it may have, ahead of the other PMs, already gone through its ABC? It’s been leading the rest of them now, it seems, for weeks. We’ll see, partner.

Yes, you are not alone.  Someone, can’t remember who and it might have been Israeli, told me about Boron for my husband’s arthritis…. the regular everyday kind, not Rheumatoid…  the Dr was recommending that my husband, age 73, have both shoulder joints replaced.  I was livid because my husband is quite active and hardly ever complains that he is in pain or that he can’t move his arms.  Sure he gets real sore if he over does it just like anyone would but this extreme remedy was out of the question as far as I was concerned…………. so I got him the Boron and it did the  trick.  His days of agony after a real hard workout are much less and he has complete range of motion now without pain.

He posted an article written by David Nichols … SafeHaven .. he is calling for a correction after this little run-up … down to 800 - 850 range before next major move up.   How do you think the gold stocks will perform during this downward move … will they go down too or kinda move sideways …. or what …..   any guess ?

I had recurring bouts with rheumatoid arthritis for many years…. each episode worse than the previous one. In September 2005 I was hit again and literally knocked off my feet, couldn’t lay down, slept in a reclining chair for short periods, couldn’t even open or close a car door. My specialist said he could give me cortisone (steroid) injections in my joints to relieve the pain, but I had that done in the past with very mediocre results, so I turned them down, hoping I could find relief in some other way.

Then one day our own Goldballoon emailed me with a “try this”. It was a writeup from an Australian Doctor who had cured over 80% of all rheumatoid arthritis cases he had treated. What did he use??? BORON, an element that is missing or deficient in many(most) areas in our diets. I did a Google search for “boron and rheumatoid arthritis” and came up with a wealth of testimonials and other research articles that substantiated his claims.

Here’s all you need to do: Buy a bottle of 3mg boron tabs from your local health food store. Start with 3 tabs daily for three weeks, and as the Doctor says, your rheumatoid arthritis will be gone at the end of that time. Then drop to 1 boron tab daily as a maintenance dose. That’s exactly how it worked. At the end of three weeks I was again able to resume most of my activities, but I still had some minor twinges from all the damage my body had done to itself, so I opted to continue for another two months at a rate of 2 tabs per day, then dropped to 1 tab daily and have been taking that dosage since then.

I was so elated that I made an appointment with my Rheumatologist and told him about boron. His remark, before walking out of the room was “well then, I won’t have to see you again”. He was ABSOLUTELY NOT INTERESTED!!!! I can only deduce that he was in the business of making big fees for all the poison he puts into peoples  systems, and since boron only costs about $6-9 for 90 tabs and doesn’t require his services to administer it, he was not interested.

I would encourage anyone who has rheumatoid arthritis to give boron a try. It is harmless unless taken in huge doses, and in trials has been taken over prolonged periods at a rate of 18mg per day, twice what is required at the beginning of this treatment and 6 times the maintenance dose. I’ve been pain free now for over 2 years and my joints, muscles, and ligaments that had been ripping themselves apart are very close to their old elasticity again. My PM shares have been the sh!ts but my health has never been better. I’m glad I was one of the 80% boron worked for.
