I have mentioned this once before but since the subject has come up again I hope this will help someone..

The paternal side of my family was sorely afflicted with various stages of arthritis. When I entered my 50’s I could see the signs manifesting in me.   Since I had been a whole foods nut for years, I began trying to figure out a holistic way to stop the deterioration that i could feel was happening. This led me to the age old recipe of cider vinegar, honey & water. Simple……. a glass of water, 1 to 3 teaspoons of cider vinegar and a dash of honey. Most call for 3 glasses a day of this time honored cure. Being slight of build I only do this once a day, in the early AM. 10 years later (approx) I do not have any of the indications I had years ago. This regimen helps balance the body’s pH. Supposedly an acidic pH enables buildup of the calcium deposits in the joints which leads to stiffness & pain. This seems to work for me. Whether It will do the same for others, your guess is as good as mine. I also take a mineral supplement of boron, calcium & magnesium but this was started only last fall.  I drink a few beers  and smoke occasionaly. Hope this helps.
