Equisetum, thank you for that link.

I almost feel as though I wouldn’t mind trying to get those curves to fit a chart.

Vive la différence!

Equiz….LOL

…thanks for getting me up to speed….No need to enlarge…..LOL

fgc (23:05) Will the link below suffice?

One needs to scroll down to paragraph 8 to see the image of French curves in action.  If you scroll the site there may be an option ‘Click to enlarge”, although that may not be necessary.  Anyway, as you know, Canada now is on a job search for a new External Affairs Minister.  Aint politics in Canada fun?  Equiz

Equiz…for the Politically Challenged Canadians

…Maybe you could elaborate…

:)

Excellent idea ..

Whats Your Favorite Stock
and Why ??

I see there are a lot ECU fans
here and other jr co’s with tons
of in ground silver,,like ASM.V Avino,
CZN.TO Canadian Zinc,
SVL.V Silvercrest,,
OK.V Orko Silver..
But my favorite is
SST.V Silverstone..
It’s a small royalty co..
and has some exploration
to boot. As you know royalty co’s
get less hassle from
detrimental economic histonics.
in the neurotic irrational market.
I own 500 shares..
Soo,, be careful.. LOL
In their presentation
they compare
themselves with similar co’s.
All one can do is check
it out and make up your own mind.

But makes me wonder ???
We here know far more than
non goldbugs and buy
accordingly.. But when it
“ finally “ comes time to sell,
To Whom ???
Will they be informed buyers
who can appreciate a
best of breed stock
or . .

FGC Yes we do need to acknowledge the power of French curves. Canada’s external affairs minister has displayed that. Cheers. Equiz.

Equiz and Ferret….Never underestimate the Power of French Curves

….they once got me in trouble…with my now Ex….

…and I still am mesmerized by them…

SOEE…looks like all those NOBODYS are saying

ferrett (22:46) You got it ! That’s my point too at 22:27.

Another poster on Goldtent loaned me his copy of Charles

Morris’s 2008 book “The trillion dollar meltdown”.  Although I have not yet got to the final pages of Morris’s text , I can already second JS’s recommendation on his website today that this is certainly a worthwhile read.  Best wishes.  Equiz.

JBI, that’s the beauty of French curves,

they have such a variety of ellipsoidal radii that you can find one to fit any chart.  And even if you can’t, just change the chart to a logarithmic scale.

TQ @ 21:54 pm

those who live with the fib numbers .. should try the french curve… natures perfect golden mean,,

takes out the noise , the day to day permutations ,,, the clutter …

since 2001 the french curve has caught the bull market in gold .. with a beauty and symmetry that defies the chatter of the empty room ..

I love it so many people voted for NOBODY when it comes to letter writers

I voted, then saw that answer at the top of picks.  I don’t read any myself…just confuses me when I did.
