ECU;  someone asked about this one some days ago.  Look at the 3 year weekly chart.  It has retraced somewhat more than 62% of the rise it made from its lows three years ago.  It has double bottomed at that retracement level.  That was also near the 200 week moving average when it touched 1.30.  It has made three weeks of higher lows since the 1.35 low in April.

Since the pros know that a lot of stop loss orders are somewhat near the technical expected lows, they can try to run the price lower to set these off to trigger selling of stocks they wish to accumulate. Notice that selling volume since the April low has been much less.   Looks like selling has become exhausted.

Golden Maples, I wondered again why this important posting link on Goldtent needs to be buried way down at the bottom under the heading ‘Misc.’?  I think ‘tinyURL’ is so important for posting that it should be given a more prominent place near the top of Goldtent’s right hand side bar.  Would you please pass this suggestion on to the site designer who is handling such matters for Goldtent these days?  Cheers.  Equiz.

The weather has been a on going problem since winter, here, the river was in flood stage starting in the first of March extremely wetand cold.

April and May was terrible conditions for the crops plalnting and very cold soil, some of the corn laid in the ground 2-3 week before it came up.

About 2 weeks ago, while having dinner I made the remark that corn will hit $8 a bushel. One of the fellows was farmer and I think that he thought I was nuts.

This afternoon driving in the country looking at crops on some prime farm land, the corn looks bad, it just doesn’t have dark green color instead it is yellowish green color.

The USDA is totally behind the ball, I can assure you that it will revise their estimate down once again.

a momentous event has occurred for the aboriginal populations with which we share this nation, irrespective of party name of the political party that presently gives us our Prime Minister.  Today marked the arrival home of aboriginal remains, to an airport a few miles from where I live, from the boxes in which they had been held so long in New York City.  I think Lousie Arbour would be proud of what happened today for the Tseycum First nation.  Certainly I am pleased for the Tseycum people and appreciate the relief and joy they are experiencing today.

You can trade oil for gold. Good luck mining and refining gold without oil.

  Indeed. HUI  has yet to make a lower low after making new consecutive highs.

  We are due for at least a very strong bounce. No doubt it will take higher metal prices.

   I’ve yet to see $16.50 and $850 fail.

   This too shall pass. JMHO
