As a ‘little’ follow up to the K-B Debacle here in our small Ag community, they got permission 3+ yrs ago to buy some Alvacado orchard area, build McM’s. All tidy & neat, Streets paved, lots marked. Surrounding roads upgraded, one to 3 lane concrete, complete w/ traffic light.

As I recall, 17 units built. Then the bottom dropped out. Area was for 116 homes.
Couple now listed for sale. Haven’t yet seen “Bank Owned” signs tho.

So, K-B decided………VOILA………we shall change our plan, and build 1600 sq ft homes in the remaining lot area. So they announced this ‘new plan.’

The existing underwater McM owners are howling bloody murder.

Oh, but not to worry, sayeth K-B……why, we’ll simply wall off the ’set aside area’ for our newly downsized 16-1800 sq ft little McMansions.

Later today, I’ll take a drivethru and count the McM’s with FSBO and Bank Owned signs.
