rno might i suggest you ask your broker if they have the ‘gui’ system [pronounced ‘gooie’] available for you [the system is very common place for many years worth] and if so i think you would be very pleased with the ease of its functioning and simple to the point tabs on its layout and personalized real time quote board. cheers. wj
thanks for the info on the quote and order system. i get excellent service from my broker so i will remain with him but could use a quote and order system. sometimes i think the only way to trade some of this stuff is to wait until the market makes a big move early, then get stopped in on the retracement.

whether there is now an inflationary trend or a deflationary trend, and the exciting news that central socialism is up to muster when Bush, Paulson and Bernanke need to bail out more financial institutions, maybe its also important to note that the U.S. is in another quagmire that it does not yet seem openly to acknowledge (see link below). Regrettably, Canada too, through NATO, is also involved in Afghanistan without the realization that no western country or group of countries is going to change the feudal local land-holding system, nor the regional tribal system, nor the system of government in Afghanistan.
I recognize that we are slow learners, but couldnt we at least pay some attention to what is a prime priority geopolitical issue at present, instead if navel-gazing about inflation versus deflation and spending taxpayer dollars on bailing out failing financial institutions? I’m just asking innocent questions about the U.S. adventure in Afghanistan, from a taxpayer who is helping to provide funds for our Canadian troops in Afghanistan, even if I think they are involved in a losing proposition there.
