PMF, well, if you insist on exposing your ignorance of derivatives,
the answer is that you don’t figure a “notional value” for an interest rate derivative strip.

to the moon alice, never stops with you, you just don’t have the balls to admit you have been WRONG for 2 years, CLUELESS, one excuse after another. Have a good night!
the heat is doin strange things in my garden also. Ocra is kickin butt so we are learning to like it. When it gets really big, too big to eat then cut it open and roast the seeds in butter yum.
soybeans are doing well, wax beans just coming on (the whole garden had a late start), lima beans are 3/8 inch long just getting started. I started cucumbers late and they have flowers but will not pollinate to make fruit yet. Heriloom tomatoes are slow but steady, carbon black, cherokee black taste good but growing so slow, probably due to my lack of paying attention to soil quality. Peanut plants are growing great but I don’t really know what to do with them yet. Just planted seeds for winter garden last week. Beets are growing slow but taste good. Carrots slow but look healthy. Uranium seeds started up great but seemed to have died so I pulled them out and put them in the mulch pile to make fodder for the next crop.
about this little correction in the pms….It seems many have had their first dose of this crap…..How many times has it happened during the last 8 years??? 10? 12? Damned if I know. No market goes straight up or straight down. The pms have had their share of ups and downs….for sure. BUT….look at the 8 year chart Louise…..Now that’s a pretty picture. A relentless rise…. pointed only in a Northeasterly direction….Until that changes…who gives a damn about these shorterm hiccups. They are virtually meaningless if ones perspective is measured in months and years instead of hours and days.
All the best.——aggie.

349 HUI - tommorrow? Then up?
Deadeye - never seen any of your predictions. Fire away, the crystal balls are out in force.
ment - you’ve actually been kinda mild lately. Looks like you’re still paying for all the previous nastiness. Karma. LOL
I did read your brown nose lullabye.
Awhile back I posted that I used to get a lot of 0% offers from credit cards and how that had changed to where I was still getting offers but now they were for 5% to 7% offers……..well, today I got an offer for 0% on one of my cards. Time will tell if this is a trend. Of course these are ‘come on ‘ offers and the 0% interest will expire after a period of time.
I knew you didn’t read my post.
for $1 over spot. Today that was $17.50 USD per ounce. Check out this beauty:
The caption says: NEW ENGLAND LOBSTERMAN “From the wharfs one can see the lobstermen setting their traps & buoys along the coastline as they have done for hundreds of years.” This is one of what seems to be a large number of commemorative .999 silver wafers in a series called “America the Beautiful” “1TROY OZ..999 F.S. 74P HM”
In any case is it true that when you get lobster in season up there in Northeast North America that they are all this size? Inquiring minds want to know. If that is indeed true, then please save a couple of antenna from your next catch, as I think I can modify them for use as aerials for our next DXpediton to Central America.
Thanks in advance,
Aguila
well most remind me daily how many mistakes ment has made ..lol
this post was not to show mistake s by any one.. just to show that the markets are harsh..
that showing these fancy cycle charts on paper …. but to translate it to real .. is something else..
you, ment , many other have been in the world of hard knocks .. been grinded , been savaged, kept on going // in the end we have done okay ;;
i have never made any reference to your work in any of my post except to give you a thumbs up
it is real easy to mis-translate a post.. some like to do it all the time with little red pencils nit picking/
and jump to conclusion .. then disregard any attempt to explain.. ..
it takes a big brush to paint a big canvas.. you mr deadeye in my opinion are a big brush ..
thanks.
btw, the intense heat here killed off everything in my garden but the okra and watermellon.

Just how do you figure a “notional value” for an interest rate strip?
of reminding us of the numerous mistakes we have made over the years. Yes, we have all fumbled time and again and been forced to punt when the going got rough. But it has been a fun game no matter what the final score is. Most of us never made it to the hall of fame even though we each had a few moments of glory and made a few specular throws or catches or threw that key block that allowed the team captain to make that 60 yard run that won the district championship. A mentor explained to me that Money is a nice score card but it was really made to spend and enjoy while spending a fair amount on wine, women and song! Deadeye
…..was all about LT and intermediate-term expectations for the PM sector. You do have a way of morphing things into your own short-term agenda, though, eh?
