redneck

I have stockpiled some flour rice beans meat on top of what came out of the sea container but just recieved bad news from Spanish Lookout from my computer guy….over 50% of the corn crop has been wiped out the last 7 days with the flooding…. damm..Odd weather pattern to say the least. That road we took to Chetumal Orange Walk etc…..well last night getting Moe the water was lapping the road shoulder for many miles up that way …..The barge that many have taken to Xanatunnich was last seen clinging to a tree many miles down river from where it belongs….just not good ..none of this stuff is any good at all….But ,Moe and I might get lucky tonight …so what the heck eh!
The problem is that one of the women drinking the most Kaluha[I’ll remember you for this Cosmic] isssssssss you guessed it ..a cousin of Bertha and Belcha…that one is Moe’s problem

Okie…..

Congrats on the new grandchild! I’m approaching my mid 50’s and so far I’ve not been blessed with any. Can’t wait….it’s gotta be grand spoilin’ a grandchild. It sounds like you and your son have little to worry about if the world goes to hell in a handbasket. Self-sufficiency is a good practice to have some knowledge on. I imagine guys like us will do just fine. When I was a kid we seldom had to go to a store. We grew most of our own food and my mother made most of the clothes…..but I’d hate to have to go back to those days. I can if I have to.

It does look the hedgies are on their last legs….Can’t happen to a better bunch. Where do you think the massive pile of dollars in T-bills will head first? I sure hope a little of it heads back into the pms. The Comex fiasco looks like blowup of biblical proportions. I can’t imagine that paper gold being priced so far under the real thing can continue. I can’t imagine why two or three of the largest pm dealer/buyers don’t just clean the place out and end the bogus pricing scheme.

I don’t imagine I’ll be prepaying for any fertilizer for spring application. I think the prices have a long way to go south. So far fertilizer prices are not really reflecting the big decreases in the nat gas and crude price reductions….Plus with the grains taking such a kick in the ass….I hate to get stretched this early. As you said….we  need some price recovery in the grains or some guys are gunna be in a swamp full of alligators. What a diffference a year makes, huh? You warned that the toppy grain prices were an accident waiting to happen. I sure hope we are seeing the lows.

Take care and all the best.——aggie.

ps—-my sister in law and husband live in Junction…..about 80 miles northwest of San Antonio. They have one of the prettiest ranches I’ve ever seen.

sailman (23:00). That is one very frightening article you posted.

From what I have been able to read from various sources, I have trouble imagining how the “debt merchants” will be brought back to reality.  One thing that does seem clearer to me, however, is that the Chinese, the Saudis and the Japanese are going to come out of this OK because they are in control of the drain plug in the  US’s financial bathtub.  Cheers.  Equiz.

Cosmic Train

I have been preaching the end of times lately so Farmgal just got into a ladies gathering next store and I broke out one of the 1/2 gallons of Kaluha Mudslide Booze …seems like the noise level is picking up outside as Mo Bax and I feverishly calculate our future plans inside…..We could be attacked by 5 drunken women any minute now…..How shall we defend ourselves?….Hey Moe break out some “Extend’s” quick I hear them coming

i should think so..

ment 17 (23:00) Right on. Gold-backed insurance companies are quite

possibly the only ones that will survive and be able to pay up on valid claims.  I hope there are some such gold-backed insurance companies around.

ment 17, your note at 20:27 is more ‘hand on the tiller’ than most of the stuff Dines put into print recently.

In an posting today on his website, Mr. Sinclair talks about

the importance of gold as a form of insurance.  He adds “Insurance companies cannot offer you sound insurance”.   Interestingly, that is what I have thought about insurance companies for a long time now.
