Thats what happens when you live in the frozen North!

Fully 22:15

That is one of the most disgusting comments that any press release man could utter from that meeting. I need baking soda.

First Snow here…..and its a doozie….

………..power out Blizzard like big wet snow….still got the tent though…

FGC

Just like in the US, who is that blind country that said that?

By Kentucky/ FGC??In God we trust..but people are a different story. Guess it depends how you look at it. It just might be the wrath of God we will see by people whohave forgotten the real values in life and in the process destroying that of others. As the bible says in short, a thief can come in the night(or in my case during the day) and take all your  (gold) but he can’t take what God has given you. When I think of people like Armstrong who they took everything from him, but they couldn’t take the gifts of such intelligence or integrity in the face of such adversary. He can make his own way in life, not sure about the others that put him there, or their own integrity to resort to cause suffering to others in their quest to do so. A house full of gold may give one the illusion of prosperity and prestige, but maybe in reality it may only bring you false friends, jealousy and contempt of others who want what you have thinking the same thing. And to some, how much is ever enough. Gold is nice to have but won’t change who you are, like some think when they get a make over, may make you feel better for a minute, till reality of life sets back in. That comes with in you, not from without. Same theory that drug addicts have I believe, reaching out for something out side themselves to make them happy.Won’t make that life any more meaningful, only we can do that. Gold is nice but it won’t hold your hand on your death bed, it won’t honor your memory, it won’t even get you a cup of coffee on a bad day. Not saying it isn’t good to have, just not the only thing.

NO! “I am the rocket scientist”

RNO

I am Spartac………..I am a rocket scientist

2_point

if the rocket scientists wish to identify themselves, let them do so. i met one in belize and he was very gracious to offer his expert knowledge on pumps and liquid flow. they may wish to keep their professional application under wraps since they certainly work in secure areas and have security clearance considerations.

(Equisetum) your 20:13 thanks

I write and post to clear and summarize my own thoughts for myself as I am a visual person - I have to see things in my mind’s eye- not just hear them. I am duller and slower than most and my memory is becomming very defective. However, I still like to play the speculative game - the thrill of another find - the romance of the mother lode being there, just out of reach. Nothing used to stirs my blood more than being told my idea or proposal was wrong or can’t be done. On occassions, I simply would not take no as the answer when I was convenced I was right.

I have been lucky or maybe just hard headed enough to find oil fields over-looked and in places condemned by some of the best and brightest. Being proven right at times was more important than the money. I drilled my fair share of dry holes but in hindsight they were all good shots with the right reward to risk ratios, testing valid ideas.

Made lots of mistakes but I was working in an environment where mistakes are tolerated as being paid for by other successes - much like our gold market except mother nature did the dirty tricks on the unwary. She was mostly kind to me for some reason - hiding things in the oil patch from others and gave me key clues when I needed them. Lots of fun when one is right often enough to pay for the mistakes both in the oil patch and the gold markets.

PS to Equisetum: An old mentor told me it was OK to make predictions of what will happen and when something will happen but never put the two together!
another: good money management can take care of lots of mistakes.

G20……..couldnt stand to read it all.but this stands out

* We underscored that the Bretton Woods Institutions must be comprehensively reformed so that they can more adequately reflect changing economic weights in the world economy and be more responsive to future challenges. Emerging and developing economies should have greater voice and representation in these institutions.”

aurum. 20:20

I do remember you mentioning it.  It occurs to me that there are several uses  you can put to a cast iron skillet.  One obvious one is to keep one under the bed in case of an unwelcome intruder.  Better than a gun any day and much more fun.

This is a beaut from the G20…LOL

“Promoting Integrity in Financial Markets: We commit to protect the integrity of the world’s financial markets by bolstering investor and consumer protection, avoiding conflicts of interest, preventing illegal market manipulation, fraudulent activities and abuse, and protecting against illicit finance risks arising from non-cooperative jurisdictions”…………..like the US?

Kentucky…I see where you are comming from…we must prostate ourselves and give up hope and believe in god ..before we can get out of this mess

…….i got news…….God did not get us into this Mess……so he surely wont get us out of it……

……..The World Monetary System is man Made.and a ….man made solution is needed…….

….the Dollar says in God we trust..but it has become the most ungoldy thing imaginable…

……..I would rather say In Gold we Trust……….Goldliness is next to Godliness

:)

Kentucky…your position …Like Mine ….is all Speculation

…we agree to disagree………..but what about your ridiculous statement…..saying the Fed Only knows how to fight inflation because thats all they do !……………there is No speculation on that point…… The history of the Fed IS Inflation…………….and Buying bonds with dollars is called Monetizing the Debt……which IS the Ultimate Inflation catylist…..those dollars are just created out of thin air as you know…………you contradict yourself to the Nth degree with that statement..you better rethink and re phrase that if you want any credibility on the rest of your speculation !

PBR oil

One thing you need to think about as I have posted before. If I am correct on a many year bull in the US dollar oil could stay the same in US dollars but be rising in other currencies. As gold works.

If we are having a major rally in the US dollar it affects much. I tried to say this before. Watch the currencies - they are important.

Cash or dollars are king in a depression.  US Bonds will be purchased with dollars that are strong as long as they can get away with the scam.  The dollar will be strong because the rest of the world will be even weaker.  The system will collapse world wide and then you will have a new world order.  It will take some time to get there.  But Obama says we will get there.  The mess is so massive that no one on earth could solve the problem.  It has to implode but it will take time untill there is no denial.  As I said yesterday there is too much hope.  A little of the hope was eliminated today with the results of the G-20 not doing anything.  After there is no default on the comex a little more hope will be lost.  After the next cycle date passes and the turn does not come a little more will be lost.  Time takes time.  Hope springs eternal.  It will be painful.

Maybe then we will surrender and say God help us.
