Of course there was no MSM coverage of the rallies. You can see coverage at Break The Matrix. Ron Paul’s speech begins at 1:48 Let it load firstand then drag the bar to that point:

How many zero does one trillion have? I wonder how many members of congress know.

LOL! Yeah, been there… Stayed at Shinjuku and took that station to Akihabara… the electronics surplus district. Jam & cram. Sometimes the locals actually try to get out of your way if you look foreign, but it doesn’t matter. The WORST experience was checking out of the Shinjuku hotel with luggage and boarding Shinjuku station to Tokyo station, and then changing trains to board the Shinkansen MAX north. After I was nearly turned into a creamed suitcase sandwich in those crowds, I vowed I would get luggage with wheels… forevermore. The Japanese have a word for : “the art of polite shoving” on a crowded platform.

Front page Sydney Morning Herald today

(snip)
Prepare for war. Last week I met the Boogie Man, the former head of the Israeli Defence Forces, General Moshe “Boogie” Ya’alon, who is preparing the political groundwork for a military attack on Iran’s key nuclear facilities. “We have to confront the Iranian revolution immediately,” he told me. “There is no way to stabilise the Middle East today without defeating the Iranian regime. The Iranian nuclear program must be stopped.”

Citigroup, US in Talks to Create ‘Bad Bank’ Wall Street Journal
Citigroup Inc. is nearing agreement with U.S. government officials to create a structure that would house some of the financial giant’s risky assets, according to people familiar with the situation. While the discussions remain fluid and might not result in an agreement, talks were progressing Sunday toward creation of what would essentially be a “bad bank.” That structure would help Citigroup cleanse its balance sheet of billions of dollars in potentially toxic assets, these people said.
Bloomberg version of article
++++++++++++++++++++++++++For this “bad” bank I would like to propose this as it’s new name: Shitibank
The bank that only sleeps.

For the food article. I was going to post a mention of this subject after I heard on the morning news that they were telling folks not to show up this morning, because everything was gone. I said to my wife the same thing, it’s a reflection that food is expensive and people are doing their best to cut cost.
please also note that uncle sam showed up and ripped off people too. probably poor people that can’t afford to be ticketed in the first place.
