Yep, you got the message right. I would encourage all tenters to watch that program if they have a chanch. I agree, it is probably just the beginning of a media onslaught against gold and gold ”hoarders”. Once they have criminalized gold holders through the media, how long until real laws are passed?? I agree. As I had not seen the show, had no idea what to expect. I also found it interesting the emphasis on rain forest destruction and the use of mercury and its’ impact as if that is the only source of gold. No legitimate mining operations were covered. So, the groundwork is being laid? We are participants in an evil and corrupt industry filled with thieves and smugglers. This crime-infested industry must be brought under control. At least 10% of any gold I may have was once part of the Brinks heist and therefore should be returned to the rightful owners. Did I get the message right? All in all a very disappointing program.

Thanks for the heads up on that program. Interesting, however, I have to say that the negative ’spin’ put on the presentation of the gold story really turned me off. They presented gold as being something mysterious and ‘black’. Comments like how untraceable it was, was repeated several times and presented in such a way as to try to make anyone owning gold feel guilty. They told the Brinks story and then presented Dubai as nothing more than a clearing house for stolen gold. Just seemed to me the whole program was gold negative and designed to influence peoples’ perception. Even the name “Secret History of Gold”, doesn’t set well with me. What is so secret about the history of gold? Would they have a program about iron and call it “Secret History of Iron”? Not likely. They told the story of a poor Peruvian minor and all he had to go through, not to mention how he had to destroy forests, and use mercury to get one oz. Than made comments like, “This untraceable gold will go into the world gold supplies” I think the program was pure propaganda designed to turn people away from owning gold. Well worth seeing though. I am curious if it struck anyone else the same way it did me.

Terence McKenna was a pioneer in charting the ways of DMT and the Pineal.  I’ve read an awful lot of his stuff.

Somewhere I read about L-tryptophan and dark chocolate metabolism leading to …   darned if I can find a reference now.   Lots of McKenna’s information was taken down in years past, also.
