I dont know if he has it exactly pegged or not either. And I agree with you a lot of what he says has a certain ‘ring of truth’, sounds very sensible. And yeah, it passed that ‘gut feeling’ test with me too.

Perhaps the best thing that article had going, my view of course, was the fact it did NOT ORIGINATE fromt the Talking Heads that millions watch, or from the pages of the ‘Elite’ Financial Journals. Remember, the story of Clinton/Monica was not first ‘broken’ or exposed by the major media but from a pretty much obscure news source (at that time) called The Drudge Report. And I remember as President Clinton faced the Television Cameras and said…”I did not have sex with that woman…” having a gut feeling about that too. (Damn Liar!! lol)

I also think back to the early beginnings of my journey on the Gold Trail. And how much/most of what guided me, convinced me, was the writings of not some famous ‘expert’. But the humble writings of one known only as ‘Another’. Truth, like Gold, is a rare thing, and I think most often found in the oddest of places…not often on the well beaten paths that our attention is directed too by the mass media. It most often is heard in the silence of the heart, or gut, and is not being shouted out in the midst of frenzy on Fall St. And it dont need a catchy jingle or bumper music. It seeks neither fame or fortune, or the approval of those in high power. Truth and gold, content to stand on it is what it is. Perfectly happy to stand, sometimes alone, while the crowds rage in madness all around chasing hither and thither like mad dogs.

Truth and gold, are standards that time has proven the folly of all the New Age, New Paradigm, and latest of fads. Waiting to be discovered, and appreciated, while Dotcoms and this months’ ‘Bubblelishis’ investment runs its course.

Truth and gold, the antithesis of lies and manipulation. Stands against such, often in quiet solace.
With long enduring patience, they await the ‘discovery’ of things modern folks call ‘Barbaric Relics’.
They can stand the harsh light of reality, indeed shine thier best. While the lies and manipulators best operate, can only succeed in, the darkness and shadows.

I really am beginning to enjoy the show these days. Watching the folly of fiat, and those it has allowed to rise to positions of power begin to thrash about in pain. We must be seeing the final ‘Act’ of this play, surely the curtain is about to fall? Hard to imagine some paper mache hero riding to the fiat rescue.

We ago about each day the best we can. Chop a little wood. Throw a seed in the ground here and there, and we wait. We can beat our swords into plowshares. Seems the fiat folly gang will bring about thier own demise with self inflicted wounds. (grin)

Lets sit around the stove, drink some of Winedoc’s coffee, and think of Club Cars and Golden trains. If we grow restless we can take up the sport of roping deer, rasing jackalope, or like some, writing books. Im sure they will all be classics one day. When the last of the bubbles burst. The greatest of all bubbles, the one built on lies and deception…the Bubble of Illusion.
