I can only find agreement with the general views you expressed in the 12:36 post, as I would expect ‘most everyone in the Tent does. If I’m not mistaken, those views are for the most part commonly held and are a big part of why we’re here, why we all have evolved and migrated to this Tent. Most are familiar with the Constitution, Jefferson, The Creature From Jeckyll Island, Aaron Russo, Ron Paul, etc., etc., in addition to the common interest in PMs and interest in communicating ideas about how best to navigate the uncharted waters of our time.
What I wonder is why you shared these views, in this manner. This is the second post where you’ve advocated that people educate themselves, implying that you have great(er) knowledge, even citing “…30 years of economic and political research understanding the goals of the global elite in addition to having a complete understanding of how markets operate.”
With such extensive knowledge, one might expect a Peter Schiff-like interpretation, a veritable fountain of information and guidance for what’s coming down the pike. But no, once again after the general views, all we are told is “…it is time for you to educate yourself”, implying we lack education.
With CALVF, it was too much work just to get the squishy tidbit today that you wouldn’t sell now. Why not tell us how you think it will perform going forward, whether or not it’s one of your favorites? Also, if you know as much about the company as you imply, it seems that it would have been appropriate to have warned Tent people in advance of the wicked decline for this company at least, if not of the entire market, or to share your forward-looking views so others can benefit from your knowledge. No worries, we each make and are responsible for our own decisions, but it’s wonderful when friends look out for each other’s welfare. After all, we’re friends here and you have this great knowledge, yes? So why not share the goodness with friends, whether it is a warning or an opportunity which you, as an expert, can see and understand?
While cross-country skiing this afternoon, a friend and I met up with two guys out on a trail who were enjoying their first x-c ski ever. They asked us for tips to help navigate the trails easier, as they were having a bit of a difficult time. Can you imagine if we had just told them to “educate themselves”! With about 75 years of cumulative x-c skiing experience, my friend and I know a few useful things and happily shared, to everyone’s benefit.
The Tent wouldn’t be the same wonderful place if the individuals here each proclaimed expertise in various fields, but did not share specific gifts. It’s because so many people here are willing to share specifics that the greatest benefit is possible. You obviously have a lot of knowledge and are eager to share at least some of it. I encourage you to open up and take the chance of sharing more, with the details, maybe starting with a list of “STAR PERFORMERS” for instance. Put some meat on those bones.
The last line of your post is what initially prompted me to respond: “I speak not of revolution but of education - understanding and speaking the truth will indeed set you free.” OK, I think revolution can be a good thing to get back to the Constitution, like Jefferson, but you apparently think there’s another more appropriate path. So, if you don’t speak of revolution, please be so kind as to share with us the specific action(s) you do advocate, in addition to education. What is the outcome you desire and how do we get there?
Lastly, in your post about the Georgia Guidestones, it was impossible to tell whose words we were reading without going to Radio Liberty and checking. Quotes or some other reference with a link would be appreciated for such stuff.

I think the new “streetcorner” is not a streetcorner at all but the exits out of grocery store and mall parking lots. There seems to be someone holding a sign begging for money at nearly every exit. If they were holding a can of pencils or a box of apples for sale they might do better.

My one and only client (non-paying, of course) was thrilled to get the book for his son…who happens to be a manager of a certain well-known video store location, and his wife works 3 part-time jobs, no kids, but is having a tough time meeting his $1500 a month mortgage payment. He underlined the page that starts the discussion of real estate, and told his son: start reading here!
At any rate, he now wants to have a “coffee meeting” with the 3 of us so I can tell this guy to stop making payments on his mortgage like NOW. Only way to get access to any bailout $$$ is by not making payments. Crazy, eh? Heck, they can have the house, he bought it 2 years ago and owes more than it is worth. Pouring money into a sinkhole. Boy, this country has gone absolutely crazy, but the inmates are running the asylum and people are thinking, “Boy, with a new head inmate at the helm, things are gonna get better for sure.” Talk about a solid definition of insanity. Couple that with the article posted earlier by sckpak. We are D-E-A-D other than what we can do on an individual basis.
Your wife will really have her eyes opened by the book. As did mine. Now she says stuff about what is going on before my mind can even kick into gear. She knows how to “follow the money” and understands the root of evil in Washington and our state and local gobmints. Not to mention “captains of industry”. Our whole system is shot full with these clowns, about as much fun as The Joker in the current Batman movie.
